James Gregory is the Chief Executive Officer of RMB Securities USA Inc.

He has 22 years’ global experience in the financial services industry, with exposure across Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking. Prior to becoming the CEO of RMB and the First Rand Group’s presence in the United States, James spent five years as US Country Head for Absa and 12 years at Barclays where he worked in various COO and business development roles within Corporate and Institutional Banking across three continents. Previous to this, he held several roles across risk and operations within JP Morgan Chase and HSBC Bank.

James holds an MSc degree in International Banking and Finance and a BSc degree in Physics and Photonics. He also holds FINRA Series SIE, 7, 24, 63, 79, 99 licenses. In addition, James is an avid golfer and dedicated husband and father of four boys.
